P.2 have been thinking about the difference between a sentence, a word and a letter. They also were making sentences using high frequency words.

Look how P.1 have been developing their fine motor skills by threading, using pegs and tongs. We have also been practising our counting and one-to-one correspondence.

This week we have been busy looking closely at objects and sorting them into sets based on colour and shape. We have been thinking carefully about which objects ‘belong’ and ‘do not belong’ in the same set and giving reasons. We also have been using a ‘tree diagram to help us sort the names of children in our class in different ways. 

We welcome our new Primary One children who are looking very smart in their school uniforms!

We are so proud of our new Primary One pupils who have settled in so well in their first week!

We have been enjoying all our new activities and making new friends.
