Our P7 children are all glad to get back to school again after a lovely summer break!
On our first day back, we enjoyed an icebreaker game called ‘Same Here’ to help us understand that we have things in common with others in our class.
On our return to school, the children completed some self-portraits.
P7 have enjoyed having CR Hockey back to school for their hockey sessions!
We recently enjoyed a live lesson on how to use coding through the Just 2 Easy app.
P7 recently completed WANTED posters for villains out of Roald Dahl books using Adobe Express.
We enjoyed outdoor learning recently where the children used outdoor items to show their understanding of square numbers.

During Road Safety Week P7 worked in groups to produce a Road Safety poster using the Adobe Express App.
Pancake Day was thoroughly enjoyed in the P7 classroom. We enjoyed both making and eating them! They were delicious
During Children’s Mental Health Week the children designed posters using Adobe Express. They included things like their goals, ways to grow, aspects of their personality and things important to them.
We recently travelled to Parliament Buildings, Stormont to take part in the Education Programme with pupils from St.John’s Primary School. We got to play in the play park there too!

In preparation for writing instructions, we made some healthy smoothies. Everyone enjoyed them and we even added some flaxseed and porridge oats to them!

It was great to have CJ back to school for Term 3 P.E sessions. The children were all excited that their first session was working on football skills! ⚽️
We all had a brilliant day at Palace Stables, Armagh to take part in an Orienteering workshop. We got to work on our mapping skills and then took part in an orienteering activity outside.
